The buffalo horn is a tool that is opened on the thorn from materials like elephant, deep, fiber, amber, very hard woods and teflon, which makes the sounds come out more comfortable and voluminous. It is fitted into the sound board named as the first part. A “Başpare” is made according to the diameter of Ney and reed which is suitable for each one. There are physical forms on “Başpare” such as vertical, horizontal, oblique external forms, on the other hand on the inside; flat, oval, deep oval forms are available. Ney is blown with “Başpare” by the Turks in the World.
